CHN Energy GD Power announced in its 2024 annual report that its installed capacity reached 111.7 GW by year-end, marking an annual increase of 6.12 GW.
Clean energy sources now account for over 33% of its portfolio for the first time, solidifying a dual-track strategy integrating thermal power with renewable energy.
The company generated 459.45 billion kWh of electricity in 2024, with 436.68 billion kWh supplied to the grid. Heat supply grew 6.75% to 204 million gigajoules. Its new energy expansion accelerated significantly, securing approvals for 18.04 GW of new projects and adding 4.29 GW of installed capacity during the year, bringing total green energy assets to 21.22 GW.
