The Municipal Stadium La Albuera is a football stadium located in the La Albuera district of Segovia, the capital of the province of Castilla with the same name. Since 1978, it has been the official stadium of the football club Gimnåstica Segoviana, a local team that plays in group V of the first RFEF league. The stadium is part of the Ciudad Deportiva de La Albuera sports complex, which is owned and managed by the city council. La Albuera was born from the need to renovate the old El Peñascal municipal stadium, which for more than thirty years had served as the home for Gimnåstica Segoviana and all local teams but had become outdated and nearly unusable.
