NASHVILLE, Ark. – Cantex Inc., a manufacturer of electrical conduit, fittings and boxes, announced plans to invest $120 million to locate a new facility in Nashville, Arkansas.

The company expects the new facility, its first in Arkansas, to create 110 jobs and begin operations by the end of the year.

Cantex purchased an existing manufacturing facility previously operated by outdoor power products producer Husqvarna. The company plans to invest in new equipment and make upgrades to the facility to support the production of electrical products.

"This property will enable us to better serve our customers and support our long-term growth strategy," Cantex President Dave Merker said. "We look forward to integrating this new manufacturing facility into our operations and leveraging its potential to drive innovation and excellence."

Cantex expects the Nashville facility to play a key role in strengthening its national footprint in the electrical conduit and fittings industry.

Cantex started production more than 70 years ago. Today, the company offers a range of electrical conduit and fittings, elbows and non-metallic switch, outlet and ceiling boxes.

The company's products serve a broad spectrum of electrical distributors, contractors and end users across the U.S.
