Power PlantUnder the agreement, the French developer and Chinese company will focus on the development of floating wind solutions for what they described as “challenging marine environments,” including the North Sea and the Mediterranean.
Combining Qair’s experience in renewable energy development, financing, construction management and operations with Wison New Energies’ expertise in engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning and operations and maintenance, the parties will evaluate potential project opportunities and support the commercialization of relevant solutions.
Wison New Energies chairman Liu Hongjun said, “The scale-up of floating wind requires close coordination across project development, technology solutions and engineering delivery.
“This agreement lays the foundation for a long-term partnership between Qair and Wison. We look forward to jointly exploring commercially viable project opportunities and accelerating the deployment of floating offshore wind solutions.”
