In collaboration with Connacht Rugby and Conack Construction, Axess has delivered several AX500 Smart Gate NG, equipped with turnstile and accessible flap modules. The system is fully integrated with Future Ticketing, enabling real-time validation and efficient crowd throughput.

The integrated solution was designed to optimise stadium entry while delivering measurable operational efficiencies. By linking access control directly with their ticketing, Connacht Rugby benefits from faster ingress, improved accuracy of attendance data and a more consistent entry experience for supporters.

As part of the stadium redevelopment, Conack Construction’s strong build quality and collaborative installation process were key to the successful deployment of the access control infrastructure.

Peter Oliver, Managing Director at Designa-Axess UK, said:

“This project demonstrates how integrated access control and ticketing can support both operational efficiency and the fan experience. Strong collaboration between Connacht Rugby, Conack Construction, Future Ticketing and Axess was central to delivering a robust, future-ready solution.”

The new access control infrastructure provides the Dexcom Stadium with a scalable platform to support future growth, evolving fan engagement initiatives and efficient matchday operations.
