The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has announced a robust production target of 16 million tonnes of coal for the first quarter of the financial year 2025-26. Alongside this, the state-owned mining giant aims to remove 1,200 million cubic metres of overburden during the same period.
In a review meeting held on Saturday with the General Managers of all operational areas, SCCL Chairman and Managing Director N Balaram issued a directive emphasizing the need for concerted efforts to achieve these targets. He urged the area heads to implement strategic measures to ensure the successful realization of the first quarter's production and overburden removal goals.
