
The Ontario government is
to AGNORA in Collingwood, Ontario, Canada. The funding supports AGNORA’s $7 million investment to boost manufacturing and create 20 new jobs over the next five years. The government funding is through its Regional Development Program’s Advanced Manufacturing and Innovation Competitiveness.
AGNORA’s investment includes the addition of a new, fully automated insulating glass line that can handle the largest units in North America, according to an announcement from Brian Saunderson, member of Provincial Parliament for Simcoe-Grey. The line will increase the company’s production capacity by more than 40%. AGNORA currently fabricates oversized architectural glass up to 130 inches by 300 inches. Its markets include commercial, institutional, luxury retail and bespoke residential.
“AGNORA is a customer service company first, so ensuring that we have the top-performing equipment to meet our customers’ needs is critical to our long-term success,” says AGNORA founder Richard Wilson, who recently returned to the company as CEO.
