Clearlight Glass & Mirror expanded its footprint following the purchase of a fabrication facility in Stoneville, North Carolina, previously owned by Press Glass Inc.
According to Clearlight officials, the facility acquisition provides the North Carolina-based custom glass fabricator with the ability to expand capacity for custom shower enclosures, residential and light-commercial glazing and specialty fabrication. The facility processes glass from 3/32 inches to 3/4 inches across a broad product mix, including clear, low-iron, low-E coatings and patterned substrates.
“Clearlight is excited to continue its growth trajectory, adding significant capacity and capabilities to better serve our customers,” says William Calhoun, Clearlight CEO. “This investment strengthens our ability to deliver consistent quality at scale, even as project complexity and demand continue to increase. This includes machine redundancies from cutting tables to multiple tempering ovens to delivery fleets. We appreciate the solid foundation laid at this facility by Glass Dynamics and Press Glass and will work hard to build on that foundation.”
Officials add that the new facility provides critical machine redundancy, including multiple tempering ovens, CNC and cutting assets and integrated logistics capacity.
Clearlight, headquartered in Kernersville, North Carolina, is a family-owned custom glass fabricator serving the residential, commercial and specialty-architectural markets throughout the Southeast. It provides tempered glass, insulating glass units, mirrors, digital printing and specialty fabrication.
