for its newest lighting and acoustic solutions, earning multiple national awards that recognize excellence in product innovation, performance, and design. Spanning commercial, architectural, and healthcare applications, these honors reflect a year of momentum and cross-disciplinary impact for the Chicago-based, vertically integrated manufacturer.
Among the most notable achievements was Saros Duo, a transformative overbed luminaire, which earned Gold in the Lighting category at the Nightingale Awards, presented at the Healthcare Design Conference + Expo. The win was especially significant as it marked Focal Point’s first time exhibiting at the conference and its first-ever entry into the Nightingale Awards, making the Gold recognition a milestone moment for the company’s healthcare portfolio. Saros Duo was further recognized in the IES Progress Report, highlighting its contribution to advancing the art and science of lighting, and also received a Product Innovation Award from Architectural Products Magazine.
Focal Point’s success extended well beyond healthcare. At the Architizer A+ Product Awards, multiple products were recognized, including Lia Cloche, Lia Facet, and Seem Sweep 2, reinforcing the company’s strength in architectural lighting design and aesthetic versatility. These awards are widely regarded for celebrating products that balance form, function, and innovation on a global stage.
Additional recognition came from Architectural Record, which named Polina a Product of the Year, honoring its design excellence and market relevance. Polina was also recognized by the Beacon Awards from the Designers Lighting Forum of New York, further solidifying its position as a standout solution within Focal Point’s portfolio.
Making a strong impression with the interior design community for its design, performance, and flexibility, Tazo was honored as part of the Best of Year Awards from Interior Design Magazine. Tazo also received a Product Innovation Award from Architectural Products Magazine, underscoring the breadth of innovation across the company’s product lines.
Collectively, Focal Point products earned recognition across seven major award programs in 2025, with honors spanning commercial and architectural lighting, interior design, and healthcare design. These awards highlight not only individual product successes but also the collaborative efforts of engineering, design, manufacturing, product management, and marketing teams working together to deliver thoughtful, high-performance solutions.
