
THE QMJ Group have appointed Guy Woodford as incoming editor-in-chief to oversee
magazine and Agg-Net.com.
Guy joins the business this month as part of QMJ’s long-term succession planning. His appointment foreruns the forthcoming retirement of Steve Adam, who will be stepping down at the end of June after almost 32 years of service, with current assistant editor Simon Chan set to assume the role of editor of
from July.
Guy brings more than 14 years of B2B editorial experience within the aggregates and quarrying sector, joining QMJ from his role as editor of
,
, and
. Prior to specializing in the aggregates industry, Guy spent 13 years in regional journalism, building a strong reporting background across titles including the
,
,
, and the
.
