Vermeer’s new mini loader aims to boost comfort and performance

Vermeer’s new ML180 mini loader is designed to address persistent operator fatigue and productivity challenges in traditional stand-on mini loaders while improving performance.

Featuring advanced electric-over-hydraulic controls, a suspended undercarriage and air-ride suspension technology, Vermeer has incorporated numerous features to help crews work more efficiently with reduced operator strain across varied jobsite conditions.

The ML180’s electric-over-hydraulic control system equips operators with fast travel speeds, precise motor control and greater lift capacity on demand.

This combination delivers enhanced job-site productivity while meeting high standards of operator safety and lifting performance. Stand-on mini loaders can take a physical toll on operators. The ML180’s design includes an air-ride suspended chariot and floating suspension track system that moves freely over obstructions and rough terrain.

The ML180 also generates low noise levels, helping improve communication and minimizing noise disturbance on the jobsite.

“At Vermeer, innovation isn’t just a goal, it’s our legacy. For decades, we’ve redefined what’s possible in the field, delivering machines that don’t just meet expectations— they shatter them,” said Trevor Koolmees, Product Group Sales Manager at Vermeer.

“Our commitment to our customers runs deep. Every challenge they face fuels our drive to engineer smarter, tougher and more intuitive solutions. We don’t follow industry trends, we set them.”

The ML180 represents the next generation of Vermeer mini loaders, serving as a technology demonstration that showcases innovative features and capabilities that may be integrated into future models. Vermeer is showcasing the unit at select trade shows to gather feedback and demonstrate the loader’s capabilities.

Serving as a glimpse into the future of Vermeer mini loaders, this model introduces innovative features and advancements that the company hopes to refine and expand.

By exhibiting the machine at selected trade shows, Vermeer seeks valuable input from professionals and aims to demonstrate the promise of its newest technology.
