Hayama Town (Mayor: Takahito Yamanashi) and Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd. (President: Shinichi Sasayama) have signed a comprehensive partnership agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") for carbon-neutral town development. In

March 2021, Hayama Town issued the "Hayama Climate Emergency Declaration," aiming to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, and has been working toward realizing a carbon-neutral society.

This Agreement will further accelerate these efforts, contributing to the promotion of carbon neutrality and strengthening disaster prevention capabilities, as well as promoting further development of the region by resolving local issues and creating greater appeal, leading to the realization of sustainable town development.
