ACME Solar Holdings Limited, through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Urja One Private Limited, has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India for a 190 MW ISTS-connected wind-solar hybrid project. The agreement was executed on February 18, 2026, and marks the start of a new hybrid power project aimed at supplying assured peak electricity.

The project will have a tenure of 25 years from the date of signing. It will supply power at a fixed tariff of ₹4.72 per unit. The hybrid project combines wind and solar generation along with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to ensure a reliable supply during peak demand hours. As per the PPA terms, the plant must maintain a minimum annual Capacity Utilisation Factor (CUF) of 50 percent and meet at least 80 percent of daily peak power requirements.

The company has already secured connectivity for the solar, wind, and storage components of the project. The commercial operation date is scheduled for February 27, 2028. Financing support for the project has been provided by Power Finance Corporation Ltd.

With this agreement, ACME Solar’s total PPA-signed portfolio has reached 5,820 MW. Out of this, 1,240 MW has been secured in the current financial year. The company’s overall renewable energy portfolio now stands at 8,071 MW, including solar, wind, and hybrid projects, strengthening its position in India’s growing clean energy sector.
