The Guayasamín Museum's Solar-Plus-Storage Demonstration Project recently began generating electricity. The project was spearheaded and co-funded by the Chinese Embassy in Ecuador, with joint support from Chinese and Ecuadorian enterprises.
Capable of reliably generating nearly 100,000 kWh of electricity annually, the project allows the museum to run on 100 percent green energy, sets a benchmark for the low-carbon transformation of Ecuador's cultural facilities, and bolsters green development.
After 16 years of operating in Ecuador, POWERCHINA has established itself as a trusted partner to the nation and its people. Looking ahead, and under the guidance of the Chinese embassy, POWERCHINA remains committed to deepening bilateral cooperation, contributing its expertise to the China-Ecuador friendship and Ecuador's sustainable development.
