WBS Power S.A. is developing a hyperscale data centre campus with a planned capacity of 3.2 GW in Lublewo, located in the Choczewo municipality in Poland’s Pomerania region. The project, named Baltic Data Center Campus, has secured grid connection conditions for the entire capacity. The campus is planned to be executed in four phases, each with a capacity of 800 MW. Each phase will incorporate dedicated energy systems for AI operations, integration with renewable energy sources, and battery energy storage systems.

The company is designing and delivering the data centre to support artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and cloud-based systems. Additionally, the project has undergone preparatory stages, including investment planning, site selection, and land acquisition. The project also incorporates energy efficiency, energy security, and environmental compliance measures.

Furthermore, preparatory work for all phases is expected to be completed by the end of 2027, with the first centre anticipated to become operational between 2028 and 2029. The project site is located near a major power substation, enabling access to required electricity supply. The energy mix for the project is expected to include conventional sources, supplemented by renewable energy and, over time, nuclear power.
