Bohr Electronics
has released its new Ditchlight controller, a locomotive lighting control solution designed to enable rail operators and maintenance shops to follow familiar installation and service practices while upgrading performance and protection, Bohr officials said in a press release. Ditchlight is intended as a pin-and-bolt, drop-in compatible replacement for existing microphor-style ditch light controllers. Power is supplied to the bulbs in the same manner as legacy systems, enabling shops to maintain established wiring practices without additional modification or retraining.
