CRJ Services achieve NPORS-approved training provider status

RECYCLING plant hire specialists CRJ Services have announced their accreditation as an NPORS-approved training provider

and can now provide CSCS card pathways for waste, recycling, and industrial plant operations.

With over 25 years of hands-on industry experience, the company delivers practical, machine-specific operator training designed to meet UK site compliance and operational standards. Training is focused on safe operating procedures, pre-use inspections, routine maintenance awareness, and efficient machine operation. This fundamentally ensures operators understand machine limits, safety systems, fault recognition, and best-practice operating techniques. The outcome is improved operational efficiency, reduced unplanned downtime, enhanced asset care, and measurable improvements in cost per tonne through increased operator competence and awareness.

Recently qualified as a National Plant Operators Registration Scheme

(NPORS) instructor, Joe Symons of CRJ Services delivers both internal and external operator training grounded in real-world site conditions. His approach places strong emphasis on safe systems of work, legal compliance, and efficient machine operation, ensuring training aligns with the operational demands of recycling and waste-management environments.

Mr Symons’ experience-led methodology ensures trainees understand not only how to operate equipment, but the operational and safety rationale behind correct procedures – a critical requirement in high-risk, high-throughput industries. CRJ Services are uniquely positioned to deliver specialised OEM-aligned operator training, supported by in-depth technical knowledge and practical experience across the forestry, waste, and recycling service sectors.
