HYUNDAI Construction Equipment are to launch a host of new and updated machinery in 2026, further broadening their product line-up and increasing their penetration into new market sectors. The company will also expand its after-sales and service offer, launching a new spare parts line and boosting customer service solutions.
For the second year in a row, Hyundai will unveil multiple equipment innovations in the coming year, led by the Next Generation line of crawler excavators initially launched at the bauma exhibition in April 2025 with the unveiling of the HX360L and HX400L models.
The crawler machines are also the first from Hyundai to feature full electro-hydraulic (FEH) controls. Rather than using hydraulic pilot controls, the machines use electrical signals from the levers in the cab to control the hydraulic system. This reduces response time and boosts precision, while allowing operators to fine tune each control to meet their individual requirements.
According to Hyundai there is much more to come, as their line-up will continue to expand over the coming months, with the much-anticipated HX230L the first to arrive at the Conexpo exhibition in Las Vegas in March.
At the opposite end of the weight scale, the first models in a new range of skid-steer machines will also make their debut in Europe in 2026. Announced at Bauma in 2025, the HS80V, HS120V and HT100V compact loaders weigh in at 3.4, 3.8 and 4.3 tonnes respectively. Already proven in the US market, these machines are powered by EU Stage V diesel engines and offer a vertical lift path loader arm design, whilst tilting cabs allow easy access to driveline components for service and repair.
Alongside this expansion of the machinery line-up, that will see Hyundai continue to move into new market segments, the company will further develop its after-sales business, extending its ProCare service solution range to benefit a broader spread of customers. In particular, Hyundai will work with customers operating older machinery, providing additional support after warranty.
Meanwhile, Hyundai have also announced the appointment of Sanho Shin as chief executive officer of Hyundai Europe, reporting directly to Jayden Lim, president of HD Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe. Mr Shin brings more than 20 years of international experience and leadership in the construction equipment market to the position, most recently as director of sales management at HD Hyundai Infracore Europe.
