Company makes major dealer appointment, backed up by significant investment in service support and logistics

JCB have kicked off a bold new chapter in Australia – with a major new dealer appointment and big investment to back it. At a signing ceremony in Melbourne, JCB deputy chairman George Bamford confirmed Adaptalift Group as the company’s new dealer across Australia’s biggest cities – Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.

Adaptalift Group are family-owned equipment solutions providers with a national footprint. The Group delivers equipment sales, rental and full lifecycle support through an extensive branch network and field service capability, focused on safety, uptime and productivity.

JCB are also pumping serious investment into service support and spare parts supply, including new warehouses and a logistics partnership with DHL Supply Chain, aimed at keeping machines working and customers moving.

George Bamford said: ‘This is a big moment for JCB in Australia. We set out a clear plan at the end of last year – new headquarters, new dealers and better customer support. Today, we’re delivering on that. Adaptalift have the service focus, the reach and the people we need. Together, we’re building a stronger service-driven future for JCB customers right across Australia.’

JCB chief executive officer Graeme Macdonald remarked: ‘Adaptalift’s service-driven culture aligns perfectly with JCB’s values. Customers in Australia are going to see a step change in service and product support.’

Describing the deal as a major step forward for both companies – and for customers, Adaptalift Group’s chief executive officer, Lindsay Whiffen, said: ‘JCB is a world-class brand and we’re proud to represent it across key metro and regional markets. From day one, our focus is simple – selling a great product range, providing fast service and world-class parts availability, and keeping machines working safely and reliably.’

JCB’s managing director of sales, Tim Burnhope, added: ‘With a new dealer in place, stronger logistics and major investment, JCB are making it clear they mean business in Australia.’
