CHECKPROOF have announced that Josh Cage, the SaaS (Software as a Solution) business’s US country manager, is this month relocating from the UK to Houston, Texas to strengthen day-to-day proximity to American customers and accelerate growth in the region.

With Mr Cage based in Houston, CheckProof, whose software products are used in industrial sectors including quarrying, cement and construction, will increase on-the-ground support for customers, shorten feedback loops between frontline teams and product delivery, and deepen partnerships across the construction materials and heavy industry sectors.

Mr Cage will continue to lead CheckProof’s US commercial growth, manage the US team, and oversee key customer relationships as the company scales its operations management platform for maintenance, quality, health and safety, and environmental processes. He will report to Sanne Wiman, vice-president of sales and customer success.

Mr Cage brings deep, on-the-ground experience from construction materials and quarry operations, including roles at CEMEX, where he progressed through the trainee manager programme and went on to operational management roles within UK quarrying. During this period, he also completed Safety, Health & Environment QCF Level 6 and a Mineral Extractives Foundation Degree (Distinction). He joined CheckProof as sales manager in March 2024 and has since played a central role in expanding the company’s commercial footprint, helping secure major customers and strengthening long-term partnerships across the sector.

CheckProof established their US presence in 2024, with an office in Texas, to be closer to customers and industry partners. And Mr Cage’s relocation marks a further step in CheckProof’s long-term commitment to the US market.

Sanne Wiman said: 'Josh [Cage] has a rare combination of credibility from years in operations and the commercial discipline needed to scale. He’s delivered strong results and earned trust quickly by staying close to the realities on site. With Josh moving from the UK to Houston, we’re reinforcing our commitment to the US and making it easier for customers to work with us — faster decisions, tighter collaboration, and a sharper focus on measurable outcomes.'

Mr Cage concluded: 'I first used CheckProof in quarry operations, where follow-up was often fragmented across paper, spreadsheets, and shift handovers. Once inspections and actions became digital, traceable, and tied to real frontline processes, the day-to-day impact was immediate: safer execution, simpler compliance, and fewer issues slipping through the cracks. I’m excited to relocate from the UK to Houston and work even more closely with our US customers and our US team on the ground as we grow.'
