The Oslo-listed company said the agreement runs for an initial two years with an option for a further year and establishes a strategic partnership with an undisclosed regional offshore services provider supporting a major energy client.

The contract covers ROV-based subsea operations, construction support and field services offshore in the Black Sea, an area where offshore activity has been gathering pace amid efforts to develop energy resources and strengthen regional infrastructure.

Reach chief executive Jostein Alendal said the award underlined the company’s growing ambitions in the region.

“Our technology and asset base—spanning both conventional and remote operations, as well as subsea, survey and monitoring services—are highly relevant for this region, where we see a growing number of opportunities,” he said.

“This contract strengthens our presence in the Mediterranean and Black Sea region, and we look forward to working together with the charterer on the project.”

The unnamed contracting partner will act as the local interface for the end client, providing regional expertise and support with regulatory compliance and operational execution.

Alongside the contract award, Reach confirmed it has finalised a vessel charter agreement with Solstad Maritime for the construction support vessel Normand Jarstein, which will be deployed on the campaign. The vessel is already mobilising to the Black Sea ahead of the start of operations.
