Atlas Renewable Energy, has closed the financing for the El Campano Solar project located in Córdoba, Colombia. The project will involve the construction and operation of a 128.8 MWdc solar plant. The financing structure for the project involved a loan of $77.6 million and a commercial credit facility of $15.5 million. Financiera de Desarrollo Nacional and BBVA CIB, acted as lenders and issuers of letters of credit.

The project is expected to commence operations from the third quarter of 2027. The project, awarded in the 2024 Reliability Charge Auction, is part of the long-term power purchase agreement between Atlas Renewable Energy and ISAGEN. The project will generate power equivalent to the yearly electricity consumption of more than 100,000 households in Colombia and will also supply electricity to the National Interconnected System. It will also help offset approximately 38,200 tonnes of carbon emissions annually.

In October 2025, Atlas Renewable Energy closed a $475 million financing package for the Copiapó solar project, a hybrid solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) located in Chile’s Atacama region. The company collaborated with BBVA, Banco de Crédito e Inversiones (BCI), Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (CACIB), Natixis Corporate and Investment Banking (Natixis CIB), SMBC, and Société Générale to secure the financing.
