Nordex Group has received a new wind order in Spain for 80 MW, with the option to expand the project to 120 MW by adding a further 40 MW capacity at a later stage. The customer has ordered 13 N175/6.X turbines for a wind farm in Spain, all to be supplied on tubular steel towers with hub heights of 112 metres. The deal also includes a 20‑year Premium Service agreement to support long‑term reliability and performance.

Installation of the turbines is scheduled to start in spring 2027, with commissioning expected by the end of 2027. The project will deploy Nordex’s newest N175/6.X platform, which is designed for higher‑yield sites in regions with limited space and constrained grid capacity. The company said the project strengthens its position in Spain, one of Europe’s key wind markets, and supports the country’s continued expansion of renewable energy capacity.

The identities of the customer and the wind farm remain undisclosed.

Nordex Group, which has installed more than 64 GW of wind capacity across over 40 markets since 1985, operates a global manufacturing network with factories in Germany, Spain, Brazil, India, and the USA.
