The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has announced the winners of its 2,000 MW interstate transmission system-connected solar power projects with 1,000 MW/4,000 MWh energy storage systems. The winners, along with the capacities, include: Shivalaya Construction – 600 MW, Purvah Green Power – 300 MW, Welspun Renewable Energy – 200 MW, and MB Power (Madhya Pradesh) – 150 MW. Furthermore, Banyan Insolation won 100 MW, Stockwell Solar Services – 80 MW, LC Infra Projects – 50 MW, and Oswal Cables – 50 MW. These company secured their respective capacities at a tariff of Rs 2.86 per kWh
Additionally, SAEL Industries won 300 MW, GH2 Solar – 50 MW, and Navayuga – 120 MW. These companies quoted a tariff of Rs 2.87 per kWh. The tender was floated in June 2025.
Earlier in September 2025, SECI issued a request for selection for setting up 3,640 kW grid-connected rooftop solar photovoltaic projects under the renewable energy service company mode through tariff-based competitive bidding (RTSPV-Tranche-IV).
