Sungrow and Masdar have signed an agreement to supply a battery energy storage system (BESS) and photovoltaic (PV) inverter solutions for the UAE’s gigascale round-the-clock renewable energy project. The project, being developed by Masdar and Emirates Water and Electricity Company (EWEC), will combine 5.2 GW of solar PV with a 19 GWh BESS. Under the agreement, Sungrow will provide 7.5 GWh of PowerTitan 3.0 ESS and 2.6 GW of PV inverter solutions.

In December 2025, China Energy Engineering Corporation and Sungrow Hydrogen partnered for the commissioning of the Qingqing No.1 green hydrogen-ammonia-methanol facility. Sungrow Hydrogen supplied the hydrogen production system for the facility. The facility aims to develop 3 KW renewable energy capacity and produce 800,000 tonnes of green synthetic hydrogen and ammonia annually.

In December 2025, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia completed grid connection of its 7.8 GWh energy storage system project. Sungrow supplied over 1,500 PowerTitan 2.0 systems across three sites in Najran, Khamis Mushait, and Madaya for the project. The project is expected to deliver 2.2 billion kWh annually which is sufficient to meet the electricity needs of around 400,000 households in Saudi Arabia.
