The three Spanish high-speed train operators (Renfe, Iryo and Ouigo) have put on sale the tickets to travel between Madrid, Cordoba and Seville from Saturday 14th February.

Renfe has also recovered the other services that use this line, such as the Alvia Madrid-Almería (which runs through Alcázar de San Juan until 13 February), the Alvia Madrid-Cádiz and the Madrid-Huelva trains.

The service between Cordoba and Malaga remains suspended after a landslide in the municipality of Alora. Its reconstruction could take until March 1st.

Although no official announcement has yet been made, the resumption of sales marks the reopening of the section affected by the Adamuz accident. As a result, 46 people lost their lives, including the driver of the Alvia train.

The reconstruction work began on 31 January and was to last about 10 days. However, weather conditions have prevented progress from being made at the desired pace.
