The Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation (Maha Metro) has awarded Apurvakriti Infrastructure a contract for the design, supply, installation, testing and start of operation of slab track on the elevated section between PCMC and Nigdi of the Pune Metro's Purple Line extension. The contract is worth EUR 4.1 million (INR 440.5 million). The scope of services includes the complete slab track system for the elevated section, including the supply of rails, fastenings and ancillary components as well as switches. In addition, associated civil engineering and other track works as well as the complete installation, testing and start of operation of the track infrastructure are included.
