He said that the package also included funds for maintenance and improvement of several local roads in the constituency. The assistance covers Rs one million (Rs 1 mn) for the Nauna-Chhalaila-Vinidhar road, Rs two million (Rs 2 mn) for the Balichowki-Khloa-Sharsh road, and Rs one million (Rs 1 mn) each for the Nauna-Bharari, Khanethi-Khoohan and Hanogi-Shaloi-Chhamar roads. The allocations are intended to address immediate repair needs and to restore connectivity for remote communities.

In view of extensive damage caused by recent disasters, the state government prioritised the 83 kilometre road project and submitted it under the Central Road and Infrastructure Fund for approval.
