Nsw Gov Commits Extra $190M To Road Upgrade

The New South Wales Government has committed an additional $190 million in the state budget to upgrading Windsor Road in the suburb of Rouse Hill.

The road is critical to traffic movements in Western Sydney, enabling transport for more than 30,000 Western Sydney motorists each day.

The Windsor Road upgrade at Rouse Hill plans to ease traffic pressures on local roads, improve safety and ensure quicker and more reliable journeys for local families, workers and business.

It will also deliver access to the new Rouse Hill Hospital, ensuring local families have better access to healthcare.

These specific works are part of the overall Windsor Road upgrade project, funded by a combined $400 million from the State and Federal governments.

The larger project will improve road capacity, traffic flow, safety and reduce congestion, while improving public transport connections in and around North West Sydney.
