Under the agreement, Saarstahl Ascoval will supply raw materials to Mannesmann Precision Tubes, headquartered in Mülheim an der Ruhr, for use in steel pipe production. The partnership will be supported by dedicated logistics solutions aimed at strengthening coordination across the supply chain and enabling more efficient deliveries to end customers.

Daniël Nicolaas van der Hout, Sales Director at Saarstahl Ascoval, stated that the agreement reinforces the company’s strong position in low-carbon steel, emphasizing that the facility has become a key player in sustainable steel production in Europe.

Dr. Dennis Stindt, President of Saarstahl Ascoval, noted that the agreement provides long-term planning security for the production facility and strengthens the company’s position across various industries.

In a company statement, it was highlighted that production is carried out using scrap steel through electric arc furnace technology, which enables CO₂ emissions to be reduced by up to approximately 70% compared to conventional methods. It was also noted that recent investments have modernized the facility and increased its capacity for low-carbon steel production.
