The water company first published the details of the procurement process at the beginning of December 2025 covering the following five Lots:

Changes to dates in the tender process are as follows:

i. Estimated start and end contract dates for Lots 1, 2 and 3 revised to 6 September 2026 to 1 September 2030 with a possible extension to 1 September 2034 – previously 4 May 2026 to 3 May 2030 with a possible extension to 3 May 2034

ii. Current estimated start and end contract dates for Lots 1, 2 and 3 are now 4 May 2026 to 3 May 2030, with further possible extension options to 3 May 2034. Current estimated start and end contract dates for Lots 4 and 5 are 3 August 2026 to 2 August 2030, with further possible extension options to 2 August 2034.

iii. Current estimated start and end contract dates for Lots 4 and 5 are now 19 October 2026 to 18 October 2030, with further possible extension options to 10 October 2034 and 13 October 2034 respectively.

iv. The water company now expects to publish the formal tender notice on 8 April 2026 - previously 21 January 2026

v. Deadline for submission of requests to participate is now 11:59pm on 22 April 2026 - previously16 February 2026

vi. Estimated contract award decision date is now revised to 21 August 2026 - previously 4 May 2026.
