[Camden, New Jersey] - ResinTech, Inc., a leading manufacturer of ion exchange resins and specialty adsorbents, today announced the appointment of Tony Knight as Technical Sales Representative for its Regeneration Services division. Knight will be responsible for developing and maintaining sales for that business unit across the US with emphasis on the Midwest.
Knight brings over a decade of combined technical sales and mechanical systems experience to ResinTech. Most recently, he served as Sales Engineer at HEF USA, where he worked with customers on precision component surface treatments and coatings, collaborating with engineering teams to develop optimized solutions and assess cost-benefit ratios. Prior to that, he was a Technical Sales Engineer at Keyence Corporation, selling advanced metrology equipment while consistently exceeding sales goals and providing post-sale technical training.
Before moving into technical sales, Knight spent years managing complex mechanical systems in demanding environments. As Cogeneration Plant Supervisor for the U.S. Navy in San Diego, he led a team responsible for operating and maintaining gas turbine generators, heat recovery steam generators, diesel generators, and boiler systems across three military installations. He also worked as an Electric Power Controller supporting critical hospital systems and operated diesel-electric propulsion systems for the Army Corps of Engineers. This operational experience gives him direct insight into the challenges industrial customers face with their water treatment systems.
"Tony brings a perspective that's hard to find," said Mike Warner, president of ResinTech's Regeneration Services Division. "He understands technical sales and knows how to work with customers to develop the right solutions. But he's also managed the kind of critical mechanical systems our customers depend on every day. That combination means he can speak directly to plant managers' operational concerns and truly understand what they need from their regeneration services."
Knight holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from National University and is a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served as a Bradley Fighting Vehicle Systems Maintainer and was honorably discharged as an E5 Sergeant. His appointment supports ResinTech's continued growth in regeneration services as industrial customers seek comprehensive solutions for optimizing resin performance and system reliability.
Mr. Knight will report to Michael Warner.
