KP Group has inked a MoU with the Gujarat government for the development of 855 MW of renewable energy projects. According to the MoU, the scope of work covers the development of 605 MW of solar power capacity and 250 MW of interstate transmission system connected wind–solar hybrid power capacity. The projects will be at multiple sites in Gujarat, including Devbhumi Dwarka and Kutch.
Furthermore, the Gujarat government will aid in obtaining the necessary permissions, registrations, approvals, and clearances from the relevant state authorities. The total investment in the projects is estimated to be around Rs 40 billion. Moreover, the projects will help in generating over 4,000 jobs.
Earlier in November 2025, KP Group, through its subsidiaries, KPI Green Energy, KP Energy, and KP Green Engineering, inked a framework agreement with Senvion India for the joint development of up to 2 GW of wind and wind–solar hybrid projects across India over the next three years.
