Vestas has secured a 186 MW turbine order from EDF Power Solutions North America for the Forêt Domaniale Wind Project. The order includes 28 EnVentus V162-6.2 MW wind turbines and 2 EnVentus V162-6.0 MW along with a 10-year AOM 5000 service agreement. Turbine delivery is expected in the second quarter of 2027, with commissioning expected in the fourth quarter of 2027. This transaction follows additional orders in Québec, including the 275 MW Madawaska Wind Project and 124 MW Haute‑Chaudière Wind Project.

In March 2026, Equinor, through its subsidiary Rio Energy, acquired the Esquina do Vento wind project from Vestas. The 230 MW project is located in the state of Rio Grande do Norte in northeast Brazil. Additionally, Equinor entered into a wind turbine supply agreement with Vestas for the same project. As per the supply agreement, Vestas will supply 51 V163-4.5 MW turbines, with installation scheduled to commence in March 2027.

In December 2025, Vestas secured a 390 MW offshore wind turbine supply order for the Shinan-Ui offshore wind project located in Jeollanam Province, South Korea. The project is being developed by a consortium comprising Hanwha Ocean, SK Eternix, Korea Midland Power Co. Ltd., Future Energy Fund, and Hyundai Engineering & Construction. The order covers the delivery of 26 offshore wind turbines, each with a rated capacity of 15.0 MW.
