The company has received this award for the eighth consecutive time since 2019, demonstrating its consistent approach in environmental, social, governance, and economic (ESGE) performance.

Under the Sustainability Champions Program conducted by the World Steel Association, companies are evaluated across various criteria, including compliance with sustainability standards, verified ESG performance, life cycle inventory (LCI) data sharing, occupational health and safety, and industry awards. It was noted that JSW Steel regularly provides LCI data covering more than 60% of its steel production.

In a statement, the company emphasized that sustainability is a core element of its long-term business strategy. JSW Steel stated that this approach has become an important factor not only in environmental responsibility but also in competitiveness and innovation.
