According to a statement published on the official Facebook page of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency, the meeting addressed details regarding the project’s scope, technical structure, and investment framework. It was noted that the proposal submitted by Ezz Steel includes the key elements related to the construction and production process of the planned DRI plant in Algeria.

The statement indicated that the project will initially focus on direct reduced iron (DRI) production, with the goal of expanding it in the future to transform it into a fully integrated industrial complex covering all stages of iron and steel production.

It was reported that, if the project is implemented, plans are in place to establish a more comprehensive industrial structure that brings together the various stages of the production chain.
