WaterVeolia, a global leader in environmental services, has announced strong momentum in its water technology activities in the microelectronics market, with €343m ($398m) in bookings since the beginning of the year. Among its key wins, Veolia has secured two major contracts with a leading semiconductor manufacturer, worth a combined €243m ($282m). The first will produce ultrapure water for a new fabrication facility in Singapore, while the second will provide advanced wastewater reclamation and zero liquid discharge treatment at a manufacturing campus in the US.
The contracts demonstrate Veolia’s ability to cover the full water cycle for microelectronics customers, from critical ultrapure water production to advanced wastewater treatment and reuse. They also highlight the role of water technologies as a key growth driver under Veolia’s GreenUp strategic plan, with microelectronics identified as a priority market.
