Holland’s Argus® track measurement technology features multiple ways for railroads to inspect their tracks from portable inspection, contract testing, and locomotive-based autonomous track measurement systems. The Track Inspector, a real-time track geometry and rail profile measurement system, features a non-contact encoder. This system can operate autonomously, with operator supervision, or in “heads up” mode to provide real-time defect notifications based on the operator’s experience.
