They called for urgent action and pressed the government of Nagaland to accelerate necessary proposals and pursue the issue with the government of India at the earliest to translate the consensus into concrete action. The tribal bodies assured full cooperation in facilitating the project on the ground and said they would engage with landowners to secure smooth and mutually acceptable arrangements for land acquisition. The statement framed cooperation as essential to timely progress.

The hohos also appealed to the Nagaland Foothills Road Coordination Committee to exercise patience and allow the state government reasonable time to move the process forward. Emphasising the need for constructive engagement, they urged both the state authorities and the coordination committee to hold dialogue aimed at arriving at an amicable solution in the larger public interest. The appeal underlined the shared interest in improved connectivity and development.

Leaders reiterated their commitment to work with administrative agencies and stakeholders to facilitate ground-level implementation while respecting local concerns and customary rights. They indicated willingness to help mediate discussions with communities to reduce friction and ensure that resettlement and compensation processes remain mutually acceptable. The joint approach, they said, sought to balance infrastructure objectives with community consent and long-term stability.
