In a statement, Keyfield said the contracts, which also come with extension options worth approximately RM41M (US$10M), further diversifies its international customer base, and reinforces the group’s position as one of Malaysia’s leading offshore vessel owners and operators.

Including eight contracts announced earlier this year, Keyfield has secured 21 charter contracts in the first half of 2026.

Keyfield group chief executive and executive director Darren Kee Chit Huei said, “Securing contracts in Malaysia, Thailand and the Middle East demonstrates continued momentum in our global diversification strategy.

“This will not only reduce our geographical concentration risk but also deliver a new growth catalyst for the group.”

The contracts involve a diverse mix of vessel categories in the group’s fleet as well as third-party vessels, reflecting Keyfield’s ability to support a range of offshore oil and gas activities.

The contracts have/will commenced in the second and third quarter of 2026, with firm charter periods ranging from one month to 17 months.

Some of the contracts also include extension options ranging from 15 days to five months.

These contracts reinforce Keyfield’s earnings visibility through 2027 and will contribute positively to earnings for the financial years ending 31 December 2026 and 31 December 2027.

Currently, 12 of Keyfield’s 14 owned vessels are on hire, with the other two vessels projected to be on hire early in the second half 2026.
